Blackpool FC, now back in the Championship after a year’s adventure in Premier League play, may well be poised for another promotion. The scandal of the January 2011 fine for fielding a weakened team against Aston Villa is behind them, the existing squad is competent and the club, having suffered relegation, can expect very good results against the competition in the Championship.
