The Insider’s Guide to Blackburn Rovers Premier Soccer Team
One point. That is all that separates the Blackburn Rovers from a relegation spot with five games left. While they have still played one less game then three of the four teams that are currently behind them, Blackburn hasn’t won a match since January 23rd, tallying six losses and four tie’s during that streak. Sure, the Rovers have managed to pull off some big draws against Arsenal and Newcastle United, but the fact remains that the Rovers are going to have to improve their game if they want to stay out of the second division next season.
Blackburn has an interesting schedule this EPL season. There is good news and bad news for Rovers fans: the good news is that your schedule includes the Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United; the bad news is that the schedule also includes both Man U and Man City. While Man U may be a complete right off (they lost 7-1 in their previous match), they did produce a 1-1 draw against Man City early in the season. The wildcard could be a home match against the Bolton Wanders in May on their home pitch. While win’s against Wolverhampton and West Ham should keep them out of relegation, if they tie or lose either of those matches they will need a point against Bolton.
